It's been way too long since I've posted anything here. It's tricky enough getting work done while caring for a 1 year old, meeting deadlines, etc, and so taking the time to photograph work and post it has really fallen by the wayside.
I wanted to show you photos from a recent studio space I was renting. It was actually a climate controlled storage unit, and it worked pretty well for a few months. But one day the owner caught me working in there and after arguing uselessly with him, I wound up having to cancel it. There were downsides though, for any artist considering a storage unit as an option: no outlets/electricity and no bathroom. I had to buy a bunch of battery powered lights to work in there, and though they did the trick, the lighting was pretty bad.
Anyway, in these pics you can see some shots of a comic I've been working on lately. I plan to put up the actual work soon (I hope) and get that thing moving, but for now it can serve as a teaser. I also have a couple other things I've been working on that are going well, and I hope to post some of those soon as well.
